Peeden finished second at Paragon Speedway
Paragon Speedway - August 1, 2009
After finishing second in his heat, Peeden started on the pole for the feature, next to the #11 Chris Hillman. At the green flag, Peeden was able to shoot out front to take the lead. Despite multiple cautions, Peeden was able to hold on to the lead, with Hillman closing in behind it. Unfortunately, Hillman took to the high side, getting around Peeden just laps before the white flag flew, giving Peeden his seventh second place finish of the season.
Peeden takes to victory lane for the third time this season
Bloomington Speedway - July 24, 2009
After finishing second in his heat, Peeden started in the fourth position for the feature, behind Tom Ault
and Lee Hobbs. He quickly moved past Ault on lap two, taking the second position. After a caution on lap three, it was Hobbs, Peeden and Amick. Peeden shot to the outside of Hobbs, taking the lead. A caution flew for Hobbs, who had a flat tire.At the green it was Peeden, Amick and Brad Cummings. Cummings moved into the second position on lap 12.
Peeden began to work his way through lapped traffic with less than 10 laps to go, placing several cars between him and Cummings. With four to go, Peeden had stretched his lead to over a half of a straighaway ahead of Cummings. Peeden was able to hold on to that lead and claim his third victory at Bloomington Speedway in 2009.
Rough weekend for the P3

Peeden's night was cut short on Friday when contact on the last lap of the heat raced damaged Peeden's radiator. Unable to repair it, he was forced to call it a night.\
Peeden wins 2nd feature in a row at Bloomington Speedway
Bloomington Speedway - June 26, 2009
Peeden started on the front row of the feature, next to the #71 of Brad Cummings. After taking the green flag, Cummings would jump out front of the pack, with Peeden and Hobbs in tow. As Peeden closed in on Cummings, Hobbs would attempt to take the second place position unsuccessfully.
A caution flew on lap 12, just as the leaders began navigating through lapped traffic, with Cummings still in the lead. On lap 14, Peeden moved to the outside of Cummings, allowing him to take the lead. Once Peeden was out front, there was no catching him.
With five laps to go, Peeden was easily four car lengths ahead of the pack, and continued to pull away. On the last two laps, there was almost a full straightaway between Peeden and Cummings, with Peeden taking the checkered for the second week in a row. Cummings, Hobbs, Perry, and Clark rounded out the top five.
Peeden wins first feature at Bloomington Speedway
Bloomington Speedway - June 19, 2009
After winning his heat race, Peeden started the 25 lap feature in the sixth position. Taking the green flag, Peeden darted up to third, when a caution was thrown on lap two. With Cummings out front, Peeden raced his was into the second position, passing Winston Howe on lap four. In the next seven laps, Peeden worked to close the gap between him and Cummings. He attempted to take the lead on lap 11, moving to the outside of Cummings but was unsuccessful.
Contact between Cummings and Peeden on lap 14 allowed Cummings to pull ahead and keep the lead. Two laps later, the leaders were caught up in lapped traffic, giving Peeden the advantage to take the lead. Cummings would attempt to take the lead back on lap 19 but was unable to pass Peeden.
When the white flag flew, the gap between Peeden and Cummings was less than two car lengths, but Cummings was unable to catch up to the P3, placing Peeden in victory lane for the first time in his career at Bloomington Speedway.
Peeden wins heat race at Bloomington Speedway
In his first race at Bloomington Speedway in two years, Steve Peeden put on a show for the crowd winning his heat race, and leading most of the feature.
Peeden started third in the first heat race. After taking the green flag, Peeden raced his way to the front, taking the lead within the first three or four laps....and stayed there the rest of the race.
It was Peeden and Greg Amick on the front of the feature, with Peeden racing out front at the green. After each of the three cautions, Jack Frye tried to take Peeden on the inside on turn one, but Peeden pulled away. During the restart on lap 16, Peeden's motor overheated. Not wanting to blow the new motor, he was forced to pull off of the track, finishing 15th for the night.
Peeden wins first heat race this season at Paragon Speedway

Steve Peeden started off the 2009 season at Paragon Speedway with bang, battling the #11 Chris Hillman for the heat race win. Peeden started on the pole, with Hillman right beside him. The two took off from the pack, battling for the lead at each and every turn. As luck would have it, Peeden came out of turn four with just enough to pass Hillman for heat race win.
Peeden started 6th in the feature. With the dusty track conditions and several cautions, Peeden was able to 4th in the "train race" of a feature.
Peeden takes Checkered Flag three times in a row at Paragon Speedway
On Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, Steve Peeden won his third feature in a row at Paragon Speedway, bringing his total to 5 wins in 6 races at Paragon. Starting on the pole of the second heat race, Peeden held off Tony Anderson and Jerry Adams and won the heat.
Because Peeden had already won two in a row, rules state that he had to be handicapped and couldn't start any better than 10th position in the feature. Peeden wasn't worried, especially since he had won the last feature after starting in 10th.
After taking the green flag, Peeden worked his way around a few cars before making it to the top of the track. After four laps, Peeden was leading the pack. Although a few cautions caused the field to catch back up, there was no stopping Peeden on winning three in a row.
Fourth Vicotry in Five Races at Paragon Speedway

On Saturday, Sept. 6, Steve Peeden claimed his fourth victory in five races at Paragon Speedway's Dirt Stock Nationals. Starting 7th in the second heat, Peeden worked his way up to the front, finishing 4th.
In the main event, Peeden started in 10th position for the 25 lap feature. After battling several cars for track position, Peeden worked his way to the front, passing Joe Lucas, Mike Vest and Brad Cummings for the 2nd place position.
After a caution late in the race, it was a three lap shootout for the win between Peeden and Bloomington's Danny Harris. The two were side-by-side when the white flag was thrown. The two battled for the win through every turn, with Peeden coming out of turn four almost a car length ahead of Harris.
Peeden was welcomed into victory lane with a grandstand full of fans on their feet, as several other drivers pulled up beside Peeden to give him a thumbs up.
