SPR is proud to announce our participation in the 2011 DirtScoops Driver Reality Series. Each week, we will be featuring behind the scenes video to give our fans a glance at some of the prep work that goes in to our racing season. Peeden named Offical Dirt Track Warrior of Prilosec OTC

With the help of all of our supporters, Steve Peeden has been named the Official Dirt Track Warrior of Prilosec OTC through www.officialsponsor.com. After applying on November 29, SPR's application was approved with his story, photos, and a promotional video.
After completeing the application on Novemner 29, 2010, SPR asked all of our friends, family, fans and sponsors to vote daily until January 14, 2011. Before the end of round 4, we were able to collect almost 1,000 votes, which helped us to get noticed by the judges.
The judges response?
- We love how your passion for racing has grown with you through the
years. You seem to have a solid handle on where you've been and for that
reason, a keen eye on exactly where you're heading.
- We were excited to see that you received so many votes, and that
you shared photos and videos of your experiences to rev up your website.
- Your commitment to excellence on the track is impressive. We took
note. We saw that visitors to the website praised your talent.
We are in the process of getting our graphics and shirts in order so that we can begin this new journey with full force. We are excited to welcome Prilosec OTC aboard as a sponsor and hope that you will follow our blog on officialsponsor.com.
Thank you to all of you who voted each and every day for us. We wouldn't have had a chance had it not been for you. Here are just a few of the comments that our application received:
- Buddha1969—Steve is a lot more than a great competitor. He gets involved with the race fans like very few drivers on this level do. He has competitions to get fans more involved getting them free memorabilia, tickets whatever he can think of. He has coloring contest for his young fans, fan appreciation parties and so forth. Steve is the epitome of what a sportsman should be a mixture or highly competitive spirit and a strong commitment to his Family, Friends and Fans. This man deserves each and every vote he gets and then some and he definitely deserves this sponsorship so he can continue to thrill race fans new and old on and off the track. Thank You Oh and Steve, keep doing what you are doing. I told you in a letter I wrote you once. You are in a position to set a great example, bring in young fans and show them great competition and even greater sportsmanship in the world of dirt track racing. You have been doing a GREAT job. - RacingNut —What a great opportunity for both ends of the sponsorship! Steve gains support in doing something that he loves & he also helps Prilosec reach all those race fans that are gobbling down the greasy, fried concession stand food....and could probably really use some Prilosec OTC before the night is over! Steve has a knowledge of the sport that not many his age have. He is always prepared to be on top of his game and spends hours every night out in the garage [after working all day] prepping and preparing the car for the next weekend. I have been following Steve since he first started racing. If he continues on the path he is on, this is one dirt track driver you will want to keep your eyes on!
- kadavis—You are an awesome race car driver!! If a sponsor wants to be notice...they definitely need to put something on your car because all eyes are on YOU no matter what track your racing on!! You are great with your fans and always put on a great show for them. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your races this year! Go P3!!!!
- zx I have watched Steve in several races. He knows how to give the fans a great show. He works his way through the field competitively and as a skilled driver. He would be a great candidate for Prilosec to sponsor and I hope he gets the chance to prove himself to them. It would be a win, win for both. Steve has already proven he is a winner at all the local tracks and this sponsorship would allow him to further his dream and passion...good luck in 2011!!
